Position Overview: As a Cases Validator, you are the guardian of authenticity for the “Human War Journal”. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of the stories and data presented on our platform. By meticulously vetting and validating entries, you’ll ensure that the narratives we share are both genuine and respectful to the individuals they represent.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Review & Validation:

    • Meticulously review submitted stories and data for accuracy and authenticity.
    • Cross-reference entries with available sources to confirm their validity.
  2. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that the content adheres to the standards and guidelines set by the “Human War Journal”.
    • Detect and correct any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the entries.
  3. Communication & Collaboration:

    • Liaise with activists and contributors to verify details or clarify any ambiguities in the entries.
    • Collaborate with the broader project team, providing feedback and insights from the validation process.
  4. Database Management:

    • Update and maintain a clean, organized database of validated cases.
    • Flag or remove any unverified or inappropriate content from the platform.
  5. Continuous Learning & Research:

    • Stay updated with current conflicts and related news to aid in the validation process.
    • Utilize various tools, databases, and sources to assist in content verification.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Background in research, fact-checking, or a related field.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and respect.
