Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive Fundraising Specialist dedicated to unlocking new avenues of support for the “Human War Journal.” Your expertise will be instrumental in securing funds that will empower our project to harness accurate data and implement cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for a richer narrative experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fundraising Strategy Development:

    • Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to the unique needs and goals of the “Human War Journal.”
    • Identify potential donors, sponsors, and partners, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other entities.
  2. Proposal Writing & Presentation:

    • Draft compelling grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising pitches.
    • Present the project’s vision and needs to potential donors, showcasing the transformative impact of their support.
  3. Engage with Funding Instruments:

    • Reach out to international grants, NGOs, tech companies, and philanthropic organizations that align with our mission.
    • Network and build relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the funding landscape.
  4. Integration of AI & Machine Learning:

    • Collaborate with our technical team to understand the potential and requirements of integrating AI and machine learning.
    • Translate these technical needs into compelling narratives for potential donors.
  5. Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Track fundraising metrics, ensuring goals are met.
    • Regularly report on fundraising progress, challenges, and opportunities to the project lead.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of the funding landscape, especially in tech and humanitarian sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities.
  • Dedication to the mission and values of the “Human War Journal”.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning (a plus, but not mandatory).
